Month One: Done-o!
Guess what. Today marks one month of the Design of the Day blog. Its been a fun month so far full of applying for jobs, making web sites, playing around with typography, learning about God, and doing this blog. I guess you could say that 2010 has been a good one so far.
Well, today’s design is another Photo Booth creation. It kind of looks like a stereotypical alien with an egg shaped head but I decided to change it up a little with extra thumbs and a beanie. I also wanted to play around with its facial expressions (see how it looks like it just ate a sour lemon) and contrast it to a hand waving. Maybe like if in its culture a sour face is actually a smile, you know. I like coming up with weird cultural differences like that. It’s like a celebration of all the differences we have among our actual cultures. Its quite beautiful.
