Star Wars Meets Led Zeppelin?

The other week I met a guy who had an allergy to the sun. It was really sad because he loved the outdoors but would get this skin rash whenever he came into close contact with the sun. Its not that bad if he wears a hat and protects himself but man that would suck.

He told me the allergy is called Polymorphous Light Eruption. Isn’t that a great name? Once he told me about his allergy, our conversation soon turned into a discussion about how epic that name is. Doesn’t it sound like some classic rock band name? Well, today I decided to make an album cover for the made-up band. I was going for those space scene albums that remind me Pink Floyd, Soe Satriani, and 80’s metal rock bands.

This was a great idea because it gave me an excuse to go over a couple of Photoshop tutorials on making space scenes. I think I need more practice but that is OK. It just means that I need to make more album covers for PLE. Hehe.

I think your space scene looks pretty legit! I like it a lot. It reminds me of when we went to San Francisco and we saw all those street artists making spray paint universes! Your album title is an interesting thought: divine armageddon – a heavenly or celestial battle that may lead to the total destruction of mankind? It fits. Good job.

Lens flare is my favorite tool, and you used it three times? Essentially you just proved yourself to be a master designer, at least in my eyes.

I saw PLE when they opened for ELO, back when they were still signed to EMI. OMG!
