The Sad & Lonely

Today we have the last iteration of Under the Bleachers and this time it won’t be very happy. The cover I made today really does generate social alienation with a lone figure, black and white photography, and the title in the bottom right hand corner (at the last place your eyes see when reading the cover which generates a feeling of an after thought). Everything screams the fact that this lone figure in the distant is an utter social misfit that has to deal with it. I think it even creates a feeling of hopelessness. But even though the story must be sad, this is probably my favorite version of this title.

    I somehow sense Cal’s presence in the titles and authors of these books… even if not literal I’m sure he’s there in spirit…
